27-08-2018 The petitioner has filed a contempt application for alleged disobedience of the order dated 27.04.2018 passed in Cr.W.J.C. No. 707/2018. The contempt application will be dealt with separately.
So far as the present writ application is concerned, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he would not press this writ application in view of the provisional order of release of the vehicle, at this stage keeping his pleas open to be taken at the subsequent stage as and when occasion will arise. The writ application is, therefore, disposed of as not pressed, leaving it open for the petitioner to take all such pleas which are available to him if the petitioner is called upon to face trial.
