JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 24-09-2019 This is an application for grant of anticipatory bail in connection with Complaint Case No. 936 of 2017, disclosing offences under Sections 498A, 323, 504 of IPC and Section 3⁄4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

Petitioner happens to be the mother-in-law of the informant. There is allegation of demand of Rs.1,00,000/- and one motorcycle by the petitioner and other accused persons. Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that there is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner and petitioner has nothing to do with the dispute between husband and wife. She is ready to co-operate in the trial and process has been issued on enquiry. There is no chance of

Having heard both sides, considering the above submission, this application is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, surrender before the court below within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order, she will be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Banka, in connection with Complaint Case No. 936 of 2017, subject to the condition laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
