JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL ORDER 06-10-2016 Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. This application, for grant of anticipatory bail, arises out of Gopalpur Police Station Case No. 71 of 2014, disclosing offences under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 302 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act, 1959.

Considering the gravity of the offence alleged against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant the petitioner privilege of anticipatory bail.

This application for anticipatory bail, is hereby, rejected.

The petitioner, Pramod Rai, is directed to surrender before the Court below within a period of six

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.42355 of 2016 (2) dt.06-10-2016 2/2 weeks from today and seek regular bail, if so advised. If he does so, his application for regular bail shall be considered by the learned Court below on its own merit without being prejudiced by rejection of present application for grant of anticipatory bail.
