The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Mehandia PS case no. 64 of 2017 registered for the offences punishable under Section 7 of Essential Commodities Act. The accusation against the petitioner is that he being a driver was driving a tractor loaded with kerosene oil which was apprehended by the informant and it was found that kerosene oil was being carried on the said tractor totaling to 200 litres and upon being asked about the owner of the tractor, it was disclosed that one Manish Sharma was engaged in illegal selling of the kerosene oil.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.45720 of 2017 (2) dt.20-09-2017 2/2 The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is simply a driver and was carrying the articles at the instance of the owner and he is in custody since 09.08.2017 as well as is having clean antecedent.

Having considered the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit an appropriate to enlarge the petitioner on regular bail upon furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Arwal in connection with Mehandia PS case no. 64 of 2017. (Mohit Kumar Shah, J.) rinkee/- U T
