2. The present writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent authorities to appoint the petitioner on the post of Chaukidar in Triveniganj P.S., District Supaul where father of the petitioner was posted and died on 26.12.2014 during his service.
3. The learned counsel for State submits that the District Magistrate is the competent authority for appointment
Patna High Court CWJC No.7462 of 2018(3) dt.27-03-2024 2/2 of Chaukidar as well as the competent authority for considering the appointment on compassionate ground also.
4. In view of the aforesaid, this writ petition is disposed off granting liberty to the petitioner to avail his remedy before the District Magistrate within two months from today. (Dr. Anshuman, J) Ashwini/- U
