2. The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Kharik P.S. Case No. 111 of 2024, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 323, 384, 386, 379, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per allegation, on 22.05.2024, at about 5:00 PM, the informant along with one Manohar Yadav went to his orchard and they found that the petitioners were sitting in the orchard. Later, the accused persons started abusing him and

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.68970 of 2024(2) dt.23-10-2024 2/2 demanded Rs. 5 lakhs as ransom. It is further alleged that petitioner no. 3 forcibly pressed the neck of the informant whereas petitioner no. 2 snatched Rs. 2000/- from his pocket.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioners are innocent and have falsely been implicated in this case. There is land dispute between the parties. There is no independent witness to the alleged occurrence.

5. Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioners, in the event of their arrest or surrender within four weeks before the learned court below, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 1st Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Naugachhia, Bhagalpur in connection with Kharik P.S. Case No. 111 of 2024, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
