The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Raniganj P. S. Case No. 113 of 2017, instituted for the offences under Section 394 of the Indian Penal Code. It has been submitted that the petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. and his name has transpired in the confession of an arrested co-accused person, namely, Pawan Kumar Yadav, who has been granted bail by a Bench of this Court. Nothing has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner and he has also not been put on Test Identification Parade. In the five cases in which he was made

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.58352 of 2019(4) dt.20-11-2019 2/2 accused earlier, the petitioner is on bail.

Considering the afore-stated fact and the period of custody of the petitioner, which is from 19.02.2019, this petition is allowed.

The petitioner, above-named, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000 /- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned S.D.J.M., Araria in connection with Raniganj P. S. Case No. 113 of 2017.
