Within four years of marriage, the petitioner is said to have caused the homicidal death of his wife while she was living in her matrimonial home. The petitioner is facing prosecution under section 304-B IPC in Athmalgola P.S. Case No. 88 of 2015. Prayer is for grant of bail. Learned counsel for the informant has pointed out that apart from the fact that he is the husband and there is allegation of demand of dowry and torture against him, the petitioner had also absconded for certain months before submitting to the jurisdiction of this Court.
