Petitioner apprehend his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. .
Informant in his written complaint has alleged that in order to eradicate consumption of Alcohol in his panchayat, 6 litres of country made illicit liquor kept in polythene was found in the paddy field of Lakhendra Ram s/o Ram Iqbal Ram and same was produced in the police station by the Informant. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case due to animosity and village rivalry. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner named above be released on anticipatory bail in the event of his/her arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from today upon furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned court below where the case is pending, in connection with Hajipur Sadar P.S. Case No. 267 of 2019, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
