The petitioner has filed the instant application for grant of regular bail in connection with Ashok Paper Mill P.S. Case No. 137 of 2022 registered under sections 498A, 304(B), 120(B) and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Prosecution case relates to dowry death due to nonfulfillment of dowry demand of one bullet motorcycle from the daughter of the informant. It is further alleged that they used to torture and abuse her.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. The petitioner is the father-in-law due to which he has falsely been

It is further submitted that petitioner has no concern with the mess and business of the deceased as well as from her husband and also they lived separately from the petitioner. The husband of the deceased is already languishing in judicial custody. A statement has been made in para-3 of this petition that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. He is languishing in judicial custody since 02.08.2022.

The application for bail is vehemently opposed by learned APP for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, the Court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in connection with Ashok Paper Mill P.S. Case No. 137 of 2022 on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Darbhanga.
