2. The petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Vaishali P.S. Case No. 122 of 2025 dated 12-03-2025, instituted under Sections 103 and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
3.The prosecution case, in short, is that the informant's sister was married to co-accused Ranjeet Paswan about 12 years ago and had two sons out of the wedlock. It is further alleged that co-accused Ranjeet Paswan established an illicit relationship with another woman, due to which the informant's sister was assaulted and tortured by her in-laws, leading to a Panchayati. On 11.03.2025 at about 10:00 p.m., the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.63170 of 2025(2) dt.10-09-2025 2/3 informant received information that his sister's in-laws had killed her and were trying to dispose of her body. When the informant reached the matrimonial home, he found his sister lying dead on a bed. It is further alleged that the petitioner, along with co-accused Ranjeet Paswan, Bedamiya Devi, and Brij Nandan Paswan, strangulated and killed the informant's sister. The informant also alleged that co-accused Ranjeet Paswan used to say that he would kill the informant's sister and that he would marry with the petitioner.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and she has been falsely implicated in the present case. It is further submitted that the petitioner is a married lady, leading a peaceful and happy marital life with her husband, and is the mother of three children. The first daughter, Nidhi Kumari, is about 15 years of age; the second daughter, Nishu Kumari, is about 12 years of age; and the son, Ritik Raj, is about 8 years of age. It is next submitted that the petitioner has no concern whatsoever with the family of the deceased or her in-laws. The petitioner resides separately in village Chakpitamber, which is situated about 2 kilometers away from the village of the deceased. The allegation in the First Information Report (FIR) that the husband of the deceased
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.63170 of 2025(2) dt.10-09-2025 3/3 wanted to marry with the petitioner is stated to be totally false and fabricated. Lastly, it is urged that the petitioner, being a married lady with no criminal antecedents, deserves anticipatory bail.
5. Learned APP has opposed the prayer for bail.

Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of learned counsel for the parties, in the event of arrest or surrender before the Court below within six weeks from today, the petitioner be released on bail upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned C.J.M. Vaishali at Hajipur, in Vaishali P. S. Case No. 122 of 2025, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita 2023.
