2. The petitioners seek bail in connection with Excise P.S. Case No. 271 of 2024 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

3. There is recovery of 1080 litres of illicit liquor from the petitioners who are in custody since 04.08.2024. The petitioners have no criminal antecedent.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are ready to donate Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty-five Thousand Only) in some charitable organization without accepting their guilt.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.67053 of 2024(2) dt.25-09-2024 2/2 and the submission of learned counsel for the petitioners, let the petitioners above named be released on bail, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Exclusive Special Excise Court No. 2/concerned court, Begusarai in connection with Excise P.S. Case No. 271 of 2024.

This is also subject to the condition that the petitioners shall deposit an amount of Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees Twentyfive Thousand Only) each in Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Nala Road, Patna and produce the receipt of the same before the Court below. The bail bonds of the petitioners shall be accepted after verifying the genuineness of the receipt produced by the petitioners.

7. The petitioner No. 1 is directed to mark his attendance in Birpur police station whereas petitioner No. 2 is directed to mark his attendance in Muffasil police station on every Sunday of the month. Failure to do so, will result in cancellation of bail bond of the petitioners.
