The petitioner seeks bail in Nawada Town P.S. Case No. 490/2016, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 47(A)(C)(E)(G) of Excise Act.

The police intercepted a Bolero Jeep bearing Registration No. BR 27C 8965. The driver of the vehicle was apprehended. The petitioner also wanted to flee away on a motorcycle bearing Registration No. BR 21J 5134 and he was also apprehended and disclosed his name Ramawtar Chaudhary. Deepak Kumar disclosed that he loaded the articles on the vehicle. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that nothing

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.48232 of 2016 (2) dt.23-12-2016 2/2 has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. The petitioner was going on a motorcycle, who stopped there when the police intercepted the Bolero Jeep. Considering the facts aforesaid and the fact that the petitioner is in jail since 01.09.2016, the petitioner above named is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Nawada in connection with Nawada Town P.S. Case No. 490/2016.
