1. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Mohania P.S. Case No. 498 of 2022 registered for the offence under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a), 41(I) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018.

3. Recovery is of total 2610.36 litres of illicit liquor.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 01.08.2023.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner has offered to deposit Rs. 25,000/- in Ram Krishna Mission, Ashrama, Patna.

6. Considering the recovery of liquor and period of custody, this application for regular bail is allowed.

7. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge Excise Court No.1 -cum-Additional District Judge-IV, Kaimur at Bhabhua in connection with Mohania P.S. Case No. 498 of 2022.

8. Petitioner's bail bond shall be accepted only after he produces the receipt of deposit Rs. 25,000/- issued by Ram Krishna Mission Ashrama, Patna.
