Learned counsel for the State informs that the counsel who had filed Vakalatnama on behalf of the petitioner is now no more and the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed. A counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the Patna Municipal Corporation stating therein that a sum of Rs. 5,73,748/- has been paid towards the payment of gratuity, earned leave, D.A difference from 01.07.1991 to 31.10.2004 and difference of salary from 01.04.1997 to 31.10.2004 and the G.P.F. amounting to Rs. 1,75,647 has been paid to the petitioner. The G.P.F. amount also includes statutory interest.
