2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Mahnar P.S. Case No.281 of 2023 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per allegation in the FIR, it is a case of assault of the father of the informant by some unknown persons wherein the father of the informant succumbed to his injuries and also theft of articles from the house of the informant as well as cash. The petitioner is in jail since 30.05.2024.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that unknown criminals killed the father of the deceased and took away some articles and tore away some pages of the register in which the accounts were being maintained.

5. In the confessional statement of the petitioner and

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.67079 of 2024(2) dt.03-10-2024 2/2 other co-accused, it has come that they had killed the deceased brutally. The deceased has sustained three injuries.

6. In view of the above, this application is dismissed.
