2. The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Sakra P.S. Case No. 545 of 2022 dated 19.10.2022 instituted for the offence punishable under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the informant has alleged that while he was going to his Sasural his motorcycle was looted on gun point.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is not named in the FIR and his name has surfaced in the confessional statement of a co-accused. It is further submitted that no recovery whatsoever has been made from the house of the petitioner and the petitioner has been falsely

5. learned APP has vehemently opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail and has submitted that the petitioner carries antecedents of similar nature and he should not be granted the liberty of anticipatory bail.

6. Considering the aforesaid submissions and the fact that the petitioner has long list of criminal antecedents, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail.

7. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected.

8. In the event of his surrender before the learned court below, the court below shall consider the bail application on the same day without being prejudiced by the order passed by this Court.
