The petitioner, who is in custody, seeks regular bail in connection with Bhore Police Station Case No. 152 of 2017 (G.R. No. 1957/2017) registered for the offence punishable under Sections 394 and 307 of the Indian Penal Code read with Section 27 of the Arms Act.
The informant Ramashraya Singh is the owner of the Petrol Pump in this case. He has lodged an FIR against three unknown accused persons who fired upon Munshi who was sitting on the petrol pump and looted the cash kept in the cash counter. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the name of the petitioner has transpired on the basis of confessional statement of one Pankaj Singh . Except confessional statement
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.48957 of 2017 (2) dt.17-10-2017 made by Pankaj Singh and Raju Kushwaha nothing has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. It has further been submitted that he is in custody since 27.06.2017. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner named above be released on bail upon furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, XII, Gopalganj, in connection with Bhore P.S. Case No. 152 of 2017 (G.R. No. 1957/2017).
