In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Special Case No. 8 of 2018 arising out of R.C. Case No. 5 (A) of 2018, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 120B, 420, 467, 468, 471, 474 of the Indian Penal Code.

The allegation has been made that there were several irregularities in appointment of primary teacher under Mudika Panchayat and there is specific allegation against the petitioner that she was appointed in a category to which she does not belong and that too being a member of appointment

Counsel for the petitioner submits that when she could know that wrong has been done, she tendered resignation, but admitted fact is that in her tenure as a member, the fake merit list was prepared, whereas, counsel for the CBI submits that in identical matters, several accused persons have approached this Court for grant of bail, but this Court has rejected their prayer for bail.

Looking to the nature of allegation, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected. (Shivaji Pandey, J) V.K.Pandey/- U T
