Petitioner is languishing in custody in connection with Mejarganj P.S. Case No. 93 of 2016 for the offences punishable under Sections 272/273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 47(a) of the Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016. Eighteen liters of Nepali liquor was allegedly recovered from the possession of co-accused Raj Narayan Mahto. Raj Narayan Mahto disclosed that petitioner was co-culprit, who fled away from the place of occurrence. Petitioner is in custody since 22.09.2016.

Considering the facts and circumstances, let petitioner, above named, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.52461 of 2016 (2) dt.08-12-2016 2/2 bond of Rs.10,000/-(Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sitamarhi/Successor Court, in connection with Mejarganj P.S.
