The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Special Case No. 08 of 2019 arising out of Bihar P.S. Case No. 46 of 2019 dated 24.01.2019 instituted for the offences under Sections 188 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 7/10/13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.

The accusation against the petitioner is of offering bribe to the Food Inspector, who had gone to the sweet shop of which the petitioner is the manager. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the accusation is based on no definite

He further submits that the Food Inspector as well as the owner of the shop have been granted anticipatory bail by different Benches of this Court. Considering the afore-noted accusation and the facts stated above, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Vigilance, 1st Patna in connection with Special Case No. 08 of 2019 arising out of Bihar P.S. Case No. 46 of 2019, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
