The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Bhabua P.S. Case No. 268 of 2017 dated 13.05.2017 instituted for the offences under Sections 395, 427 and 386 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner and others entered into the cabin of the informant, who runs a petrol pump and threatened him of dire consequences. A protection amount was demanded and forcibly, Rs. 50,000/- was snatched away from the employees of the informant.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that other named accused persons against whom there are criminal cases pending have been granted bail by different Benches of this Court.

No.47818 of 2017 (4) dt.29-11-2017 The petitioner has further submitted that apart from the present case, he has been made accused in three other cases on the same day, when the present FIR was lodged. He, therefore, submits that the implication of the petitioner is because the police is acting in collusion with the informant. The petitioner has remained in jail since 17.05.2017.

Taking into account the young age of the petitioner and the period of custody, this Court is inclined to grant bail to him.

The petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kaimur (Bhabua) in connection with Bhabua P.S.
