This application has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent-Bihar School Examination Board to correct the petitioner's date of birth as entered in matriculation certificate to 20.03.1989 from 20.08.1989.

A counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the Bihar School Examination Board wherein it has been stated that the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed, inasmuch as a decision has been taken for necessary corrections in the result by amending the date of birth of the petitioner from 20.08.1989 to 20.03.1989. It has also been stated that the corrected result is in the process of being issued at the earliest.
