The petitioners seek bail in a case instituted for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It is alleged that 98 bottles of Royal Stag Whisky and 24 pieces of 500 ml. cane bear have been recovered from the vehicle on which both the petitioners were sitting. The seizure list has been prepared which is at page-15 with the written report and seizure list bears signature of both the petitioners. It has been submitted that both the petitioners have clean antecedent. They are in custody since 31.10.2016. In such circumstances, keeping in view the period spent by the petitioners

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.54225 of 2016 (4) dt.30-01-2017 2/2 in custody, let the petitioners above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/-(Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Araria, in connection with Forbesganj P.S.
