2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Chatauni P.S. Case No. 314/2024 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.
3. There is recovery of about 26 litres of illicit liquor from the petitioner who is in custody since 02.08.2024.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is ready to donate Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) in some charitable organization without accepting his guilt.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submission of learned counsel for the petitioner, let the petitioner above named be released on bail, on furnishing bail
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.67072 of 2024(2) dt.25-09-2024 2/2 bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Exclusive Special Excise Court No. 1/ concerned court in connection with Chatauni P.S. Case No. 314/2024.
6. This is also subject to the condition that the petitioner shall deposit an amount of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) in Ramakrishna Mission Sevashram, Bela, Muzaffarpur and produce the receipt of the same before the Court below. The bail bonds of the petitioner shall be accepted after verifying the genuineness of the receipt produced by the petitioner.
7. The petitioner is directed to mark his attendance in Chatauni police station on every Sunday of the month. Failure to do so, will result in cancellation of bail bond of the petitioner. (Sandeep Kumar, J) Saif/- U T
