The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Bhojpur Mahila P.S. case No. 164 of 2016 under Section 379, 498A and other Sections of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 3⁄4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

The wife filed complaint case on the basis of which the present FIR was lodged. The complaint case was filed on 18.02.2015. Thereafter, the complainant filed a petition on 02.04.2015 in the court that the case has already been compromised and she does not want to contest the case. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that husband and wife have already settled their dispute. Considering the facts aforesaid and the nature of allegations made against the petitioner, the above named
