24-08-2020 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned State counsel as well as Sri Ravindra Kumar Priyadarshi, learned counsel for the Accountant General, Bihar through video conferencing.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that except statutory interest on the GPF amount for the delayed period, all the retiral dues have already been paid to the

Patna High Court CWJC No.12590 of 2018(5) dt.24-08-2020 2/2 petitioner. It is further submitted GPF amount was received from the office of Assistant Director, Provident Fund, Bihar, Patna in the month of February, 2018 but same was paid to the petitioner in the month of July, 2018 and as such, statutory interest for the aforesaid period was required to be paid by the concerned authority, but the same has not been paid to the petitioner.

In view of aforesaid facts and circumstances, the writ petition can be disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to approach before the competent authority i.e. respondent no. 3 by filing a representation and the competent authority is required to examine the same and pass appropriate order in accordance with law, preferably; within a period of four weeks from the date of filing of representation.

With above observation and direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.
