JUSTICE ARUN KUMAR JHA ORAL ORDER 27-09-2024 The present application has been filed for modification of order dated 26.06.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 38649 of 2024 by this Court, whereby and whereunder the petitioner has been granted anticipatory bail and was directed to surrender within eight weeks.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had been suffering from illness and was under treatment and was advised best rest and for this reason, he could not surrender within time. Learned counsel prays for modification of the order by extension of time for surrender.

3. Perusal of record shows no document for treatment has been annexed with the petition. However, on the submission

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.70858 of 2024(2) dt.27-09-2024 2/2 made on behalf of the petitioner, the period of surrender is extended for further four weeks subject to payment of cost of Rs.2,000/- to be deposited by the petitioner in the coffers of Patna High Court Legal Services Committee within two weeks.

4. Accordingly, the order dated 26.06.2024 is modified to the aforesaid extent only.

5. The present petition stands disposed of.
