The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Pipra P.S. Case No. 65 of 2024 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 379, 414, 420, 467, 468, 471 and 406/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Prosecution case as emerges from the FIR is that co-accused including the petitioner have cheated the informant by solding him stolen motorcycle after changing its engine number and chasis number.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence as alleged against him and has falsely been implicated in the present case.

It is submitted that no specific allegation is levelled against the petitioner. Nothing has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner as alleged in the FIR. Petitioner is stated to be man of clean antecedent.

On the other hand, learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of bail to the petitioner. 6.

Considering the rival submissions made by the learned counsel for the parties, let the petitioner above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned court below where the case is pending/successor court in connection with Pipra P.S. Case No. 65 of 2024, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C.
