2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Excise P.S. Case No. 226 of 2025 registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, the recovery is of 25 liters of country made liquor.

4. The petitioner is in custody since 30.06.2025.

5. Considering the quantum of recovery and the period of custody, this application is allowed.

6. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.63735 of 2025(2) dt.23-09-2025 2/2 the learned Special Judge Excise-1st, Rohtas at Sasaram /concerned Court below in connection with Excise P.S. Case No. 226 of 2025.

7. As a condition of this order, the petitioner after being released on bail is directed to mark his attendance at Sasaram (T) Police Station, District- Rohtas at Sasaram on the first and third Sunday of the month. Any default in appearance at the police station will result in cancellation of bail bonds of the petitioner.
