The MJC No. 2104 of 2018 has been preferred for compliance of order dated 20.04.2018 passed in CWJC No. 5329 of 2010.

In the writ Court, a direction was given to the Indian Oil Corporation to exercise jurisdiction of grant of relaxation to the petitioner and to appoint him to the post of Junior Quality Control Trainee.

Mr. Ankit Katriar has provided the letter of the Indian

Patna High Court MJC No.2104 of 2018(8) dt.10-08-2023 2/2 Oil Corporation Limited dated 09/10.09.2022 by which after informing that an LPA No. 721 of 2018 has been filed against the order, he has been offered provisional appointment for the post of Junior Quality Control Analyst. Mr. Ankit Katriar clarified that the provisional offer has given only because an appeal against this order is pending and in case that goes against the Indian Oil Corporation Limited, naturally the petitioner will continue on the post he has been offered.

A copy of the said appointment letter provided by Mr. Katriar be kept on record.

Accordingly, the MJC No. 2104 of 2018 stands disposed of.
