2. The petitioner, who is in custody since 16.06.2016, has renewed his prayer for bail in connection with Sanhaulla P.S. Case No. 64 of 2016 for the offences alleged under Sections 147, 148, 149, 448, 307, 302, 120B, 504 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act, having earlier been rejected by order dated 11.08.2017 in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 31392 of 2017.

3. At the very outset, this Court takes note in the submission of the parties that out of 10 prosecution witnesses, 9 prosecution witnesses have already been examined and only the I.O. remains to be examined.

4. In the above view of the matter, this Court is not inclined to grant the privilege of bail to the petitioner at this stage of trial.

5. The bail petition is accordingly dismissed with the observation that the learned trial court shall conclude the trial expeditiously and in any event preferably within a period of three months hereof.
