The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Gopalganj (Town) P.S. Case No. 510 of 2023 registered for the offence under Sections 411 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 8(c), 21(b) of the N.D.P.S. Act, 1985. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner was caught red handed dealing in stolen mobile. 07.60 gram of smack and one mobile was recovered from the possession of Chandan Kumar, 06.55 gram of smack was recovered from the possession of Rahul Kumar Rawat and two stolen mobiles were recovered from the possession of the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.67107 of 2023(2) dt.17-10-2023 2/2 petitioner is in custody since 01.07.2023 and the petitioner is accused in two more cases.
Considering the aforesaid facts, this application for regular bail is allowed.
Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sessions Judge, Gopalganj in connection with Gopalganj (Town) P.S. Case No. 510 of 2023 .
The petitioner will visit Gopalganj Police Station on the first and last Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would result in cancellation of bail bond of the petitioner.
