JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 21-09-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "(i)A writ in the nature of a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ or order be issued, directing the Respondent Authorities to consider the applications submitted by the Petitioner and other co-villagers for construction of Panchayat Building Near Jamuniya Pokhar under Januniya Panchayat, District-West Champaran, which is proposed to be constructed in the said Jamuniya Panchayat.

(ii) A writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ or order be issued, commanding

Patna High Court CWJC No.14331 of 2024(2) dt.21-09-2024 2/2 or directing the respondents not to construct the Proposed Panchayat Building at any other place which is not easily accessible for the residents of the said Jamuniya Panchayat specially for the disabled persons including the Petitioner residing under the said Jamuniya Panchayat."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the District Magistrate, West Champaran at Bettiah for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands disposed off.
