The petitioner has filed this writ petition for a direction to the Collector, Patna to dispose of the appeals filed against the order of Rent Controller for fixation of fare rate. Four Appeals bearing B.B.C. Appeal Nos.31/96, 32/96, 33/96 and 45/1996-97 have been filed but the Collector, Patna has not disposed of the aforesaid appeals.

Having considered the aforesaid facts, I dispose of this writ petition with a direction to the Collector, Patna to dispose of the aforesaid appeals of the petitioner, which are lying pending for the last 22 years within three months from the date of receipt of this order.
