JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 15-03-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1.(i) For issuance of orders(s)/ direction(s) or writ(s) in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents to pay amount of ex-gratia in view of the Digha Acquired Land Settlement Schemes, 2014 to the petitioner in pursuant to FORM-B submitted by the petitioner on 13.10.2014."

The learned counsel appearing for the

Patna High Court CWJC No.13948 of 2018(3) dt.15-03-2023 2/2 respondent-Housing Board Shri Pawan Kumar has submitted that the compensation amount would definitely be paid within a period of four weeks from today, provided all the requisite formalities are completed by the petitioner.

In such view of the matter, the learned counsel for the petitioner does not seek to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty to revive the present writ petition in case of nonpayment of the aforesaid amount within a period of four weeks from today.

Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed off with liberty to the petitioner to revive the present writ petition in case the amount of compensation is not paid within a period of four weeks from today, whereupon this Court may initiate contempt proceeding against the defaulter(s).
