JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL JUDGMENT (Per: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE) Date : 21-11-2017 Inter alia contending that a bus stand, namely Kargil Bus Stand, Kisanbag, Biharsharif, Nalanda, was constructed more than five years back after spending huge amount and till date, the bus stand has not been made functional thereby causing loss and inconvenience to the public at large, this writ petition has been filed in public interest indicating that after spending the amount as indicated in Annexure-1, i.e. more than Rs.74 lakhs, the bus stand is not made functional. This writ petition has been filed seeking a
Patna High Court CWJC No.14977 of 2017 dt.21-11-2017 2/2 direction to the authorities concerned to make the bus stand functional.
Taking note of the aforesaid grievance of the petitioner, we direct respondent Nos.3, 4 and 5 to look into the grievance of the petitioner and issue necessary direction with regard to making of the bus stand functional in accordance to law within a period of thirty days from the date of receipt of a certified copy of the order. Needless to emphasize that in case there is any administrative or other impediment in making the bus stand functional, it shall be incumbent upon the authorities concerned to record reasons and communicate to the petitioner.
