The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "That this is an application praying for issuance of a writ in the nature of writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ or directions commanding the respondents to count the age of maximum limit from 01.08.2014 instead of 01.08.2015 examination on the post of Assistant order so that petitioner may apply for Manager" 2.
At the outset, it is fairly submitted by the learned
Patna High Court CWJC No.15705 of 2015(2) dt.01-09-2023 2/2 counsel for the petitioner that with the efflux of time, the present writ petition has been rendered infructuous, however, he seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies, as are otherwise available under the law. Liberty so sought is granted.

Accordingly, the present writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
