2. The present writ petition has been filed for the following relief(s) :

"I. To issue an appropriate writ in the nature of Mandamus to direct the respondents to issue a land rent receipt in the name of the petitioner vide Mauza Maradpur, Thana No. 291, Khata No. 1399, Khesra No. 1515 area 00.07 dismal.

II. To issuance of an appropriate writ, writs, order/ orders, direction/ directions for commanding the respondents authorities to issue a land rent receipt in light of Genological Table issued by the Sarpanch, Gram Kachahari, Raj Panchayat, Katihar on Muradpur 18.10.2024 (Annexure-P/1) as petitioner is the only daughter of late Nageshwar Mandal who is

III. To direct the respondent to enquire about the matter properly and issue a land rent receipt in favour of the petitioner for the aforesaid land.

IV. To grant any other relief/reliefs for which the petitioner is found entitled."

3. Without going into the merits or demerits of this case, the present Writ Petition is disposed of at the stage of admission with the consent of both the counsels.

4. Having regard to the fact that the petitioner has already ventilated his grievance by way of representation dated 04.08.2025 to the Respondent No. 3, the Circle Officer, Sameli, Katihar, the present Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Respondent No. 3 to consider the said representation and pass necessary orders strictly in accordance with law. The authority before passing any orders shall put the petitioner on notice and give him an opportunity of hearing. The authority before passing any order shall put all interested parties on notice. Any orders passed shall be communicated to the petitioner. The authority shall endeavour to pass orders as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
