2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with STR No. 119 of 2025, I.A. No. 02 of 2025, arising out of Barbigha P.S. Case No. 177 of 2024, dated 01.07.2024 registered for the offence punishable under Section 309(4) of the BNS.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner along with the other co-accused persons is alleged to have committed robbery at Axis Bank, Barbigha Branch and looted Rs. 25,44,275/- from the bank.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case merely on the basis of suspicion. The petitioner is not

No.62987 of 2025(3) dt.10-11-2025 2/3 named in the FIR and the name of the petitioner has transpired in the present case on the basis of confessional statement during the course of investigation. No incriminating article has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. Charges have been framed under Sections 310(2), 310(6), 111(3) and 111(4) of the BNS. The petitioner has got four criminal antecedent and he is on bail in three out of four cases as stated in paragraph no. 3 of the bail petition. The petitioner is in custody since 24.01.2025.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the bail petition of the petitioner.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as petitioner's period of custody, the petitioner, above-named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand Only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Principal District & Sessions Judge, Sheikhpura, in connection with Barbigha P.S. Case No. 177 of 2024, on further conditions:

(i) The petitioner is directed to remain physically present before the learned trial Court on each and every date, failing which on two consecutive dates without reasonable
