This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Lakhisarai P.S. Case No. 16 of 2014, disclosing offences under Sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

The petitioner is said to be the assailant, leading to death of the deceased, the husband of the informant. The informant has claimed to be an eye witness as to the prosecution case.

Learned Senior Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated because of land dispute between the family of the deceased and

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.41456 of 2015 (6) dt.01-12-2015 2/2 the petitioner. Since the petitioner is the main assailant, I am not inclined to grant him bail, this application is rejected. The Court expects that the court below shall take steps for expediting the trial.
