The petitioner is seeking direction to the respondentBihar School Examination Board to re-evaluate her answer books of English, Chemistry, Hindi, Physics and Biology subjects of Intermediate Examination, held in 2018. The petitioner has been placed in second division and it is her claim that she deserves much more marks than what has been awarded in various subjects.
A counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of Bihar School Examination Board, stating therein that the petitioner had applied for scrutiny of the answer books and upon due
Patna High Court CWJC No.14109 of 2018(3) dt.13-09-2018 2/2 scrutiny thereof, the Board did not find necessity of any change in the petitioner's result. A plea has been taken that there being no provision for re-evaluation of the answer books, the Court may not direct for re-evaluation, unless exceptional circumstances are involved.
I do not find any exceptional circumstance available, which could have compelled this Court to direct the Board for re-evaluation of the petitioner's answer books. I do not find any merit in this application, which is, accordingly, dismissed.
