Petitioner who was enjoying privilege for bail jumped out on 12.08.2002 and on account thereof, his bail bond was cancelled, warrant of arrest non-bailable was issued and that remained pending without any execution lastly was declared absconder and then on 20.02.2015 he has been remanded in this case. The peculiar features happens to be in between the aforesaid intervening period, petitioner became an accused in Routa P.S. Case No.22 of 2003, 42 of 2004, 44 of 2004.

Be that as it may, taking into account the status of the petitioner as well as period of detention, petitioner Minahaj is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) with one surety along with cash

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.19844 of 2015 (2) dt.02-07-2015 deposit of Rs.25,000/-(twenty five thousand), to the satisfaction of learned Ad-hoc Additional Sessions Judge, VIIIth, Purnea in connection with Sessions Trial No. 56 of 1996. In case there happens to be subsequent fault at the part of the petitioner then in that event, the aforesaid cash deposit of Rs.25,000/- (twenty five thousand) will be forfeited otherwise the same will be returned back to the petitioner after conclusion of the trial.
