2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 420, 341, 323, 504, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per F.I.R., on 22.05.2023 at about 9 PM, this petitioner fraudulently took Rs. 10 lacs from the husband of informant and when informant and her husband demanded the same, they were assaulted by the petitioner. It is further alleged that later on, Panchayati was convened where this petitioner accepted the allegation and assured to return the money to informant and her husband and thereafter, threatened them.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. Petitioner and informant are co-villagers and on 22.05.2025, husband of the informant along with others surrounded petitioner and demanded Rs. 3 lacs as extortion and took Rs. 25,000/- from his pocket for which petitioner lodged Baisi P. S. Case No. 192 of 2025 against informant and others and in order to save their skin from the said case, this false and concocted case has been lodged against petitioner. It is further submitted that informant has not alleged as to how this petitioner cheated the husband of informant of Rs. 10 lacs.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State as well as learned counsel for the informant vehemently opposed the bail application.

Considering backdrop of the case and nature of accusation, this anticipatory bail is allowed and it is ordered that let the above named petitioner in the event of his arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of eight weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Purnea in connection with Baisi P. S. Case No. 203 of 2025,
