2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Khagaria Mahila P.S. Case No. 48 of 2024 registered for the offence under Sections 64, 351(2), 351(3) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Section 6 of the POCSO Act.
3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is accused of committing rape with the minor dumb daughter of the informant.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has not committed any offence. Petitioner is in custody since 8.1.2025.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail. He further submits that the victim girl in her statement recorded under Section 183 BNSS has supported the prosecution case.
6. From the statement of the victim girl recorded under Section 183 BNSS, it appears that she was raped by the petitioner.
7. Considering the aforesaid facts and the gravity of the offence, this Court is not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner.
8. Accordingly, this application for regular bail stands rejected.
