The petitioner seeks bail in Aurai P.S. Case No.217 of 2014 registered under Sections 25(1-B) A, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act.

The petitioner was apprehended along with another person and on search, from the possession of the petitioner one loaded country-made pistol was recovered. The petitioner is in jail since 14.10.2014.

Considering the facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail at this stage. Accordingly, the same is rejected.

The petitioner may renew his prayer for bail after remaining seven months in jail.
