Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under section 307 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code as well as section 27 of the Arms Act.

Petitioner is not named in the first information report but in course of investigation, one co- accused confessed his guilt disclosing the name of the petitioner.

It appears that except the aforesaid confessional statement as well as criminal antecedent of the petitioner, there is nothing against him.

Moreover, petitioner is in jail custody since 22.12.2015 and no specific overt-act has been attributed against him. Accordingly, petitioner is directed to be released on bail on
