Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under sections 323, 504 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code and section 3(i)(iii) of SC./S.T. (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.

Petitioner was on bail but his bail bond was cancelled on 12.11.2002. Petitioner misused the privilege of bail for about 13 years. Petitioner is in jail since 13.08.2015. It is submitted that the petitioner entrusted his case to an Advocate who unfortunately died and, therefore, no proper pairvi was done on his behalf.

Considering the fact that the petitioner has already remained in jail for more than one and a half months in a
