2. The petitioner is in custody since 08.04.2020 in connection with Hasanganj P.S. Case No. 36 of 2020 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is accused of killing his wife for dowry.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. He submits that there is general and omnibus allegation of demand of dowry against this and others. Petitioner has no criminal antecedents.

5. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the period of custody, let the petitioner above named be released on bail, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional District Judge, Katihar in connection with Hasanganj P.S. Case No. 36 of 2020.
