The present application under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (for short 'the Cr.P.C.') has been filed by the petitioner for quashing the order dated 30.12.2016 passed in Case No.1611 of 2016 by the learned Sub Divisional Magistrate, Jehanabad by which he has passed prohibitory order under Section 144 of the Cr.P.C.

Clause (4) of Section 144 of the Cr.P.C. stipulates that no order under this Section shall remain in force for more than two months from the making thereof. As the order dated 30.12.2016

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.9018 of 2018 (3) dt.20-08-2018 2/2 has lost its force after expiry of two months, the application challenging the order dated 30.12.2016 is totally misconceived. Accordingly, the application is dismissed.
